Refund policy
Effective May 20, 2026
If your list isn't the highest-quality cold-email-ready list you've gotten, reply within 7 days of delivery and we'll refund every cent. No forms. No haggling. We'd rather lose a sale than ship a junk list.
How to request a refund
Reply to your delivery email, or send a new email to hello@coldsmith.dev with your order ID and the reason. We don't need a long explanation — but feedback helps us improve, so a sentence about what was wrong is appreciated.
When refunds are issued
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method, typically within 5-10 business days of approval.
- If the original payment method is no longer available, we'll work with you on an alternative.
- Stripe and your bank may take additional time to post the refund — most show up within a week.
What's not covered
- Refund requests made more than 7 days after delivery.
- Free sample packs (they're free, so there's nothing to refund).
- Custom orders where the buyer explicitly waived the guarantee in writing — we don't currently offer this, but reserving the option.
Quality bar
We grade every list against the criteria on the homepage: real person at the company, role matches the ICP, first-liner cites a specific recent signal, source URL is reachable, email passes basic format check. If your list misses on any of these, refund applies.
