Sample tips

  • Open with the signal, not the praise. "Saw your post on X yesterday" outperforms "love what you're building" because it cites a real, dated event.
  • Subject lines under 4 words. "your apollo notes" gets opened 3x more than "Quick question about your outbound strategy" because it looks like reply traffic, not a campaign.
  • No images, no logos, no tracking pixels. Anything that makes the email look like a marketing template tanks both deliverability and reply rate.
